Your Sin Will Find You Out Saved By Preaching Be sure your sin will find you out! that particular passage is found in numbers 32:23 and i believe this is one of the most misunderstood statements in all of god’s word. there are many sins that go unexposed here on earth and they will be revealed only at the judgment. in romans 2, paul says that god will judge the secrets of man. 1. your sin will find you out (vv. 7 10) 2. your sin will have consequences (vv. 11 16) 3. god will swallow your sin (v. 17) your sin will find you out (vv. 7 10) there’s a deep truth running through the world—evil exists, and evil is exposed. it’s really hard to deny that. it’s just so obvious. the bible calls evil sin.
Your Sin Will Find You Out Saved By Preaching As we consider the declarations in the text, i want to preach on the thought: your sin will find you out. i. the proclamation of the lord (1 3) – as hosea opens, we discover an unusual proclamation from the lord. first we must consider: a. god’s command (2a) – the beginning of the word of the lord by hosea. and the lord said to hosea, go. Answer. numbers 32:23 says, “be sure your sin will find you out” (kjv). this is a curious sounding caution, especially if read in isolation. so we’ll review its context, especially the entire chapter of numbers 32, then see what else the bible has to say on the topic of our sin being “found out.”. the statement “be sure your sin. The inverse of the lesson reviews god’s promises that righteousness is also rewarded. there is a corollary – be sure your righteousness will find you out, for you will be rewarded for it. there are rewards for the righteous in this life on earth (ps 58:10 11; 34:12 16; 37:4; 84:11).
