Snootytooter. admin mod. warning to those considering thred up. beware, i sent in $2k worth of designer merch just to test the process and boy was it a flop!!!!! less than 25% of the merch received by thred up sold for a whopping $10. i will never use this platform again regardless of their “good for the earth” mission.

Thredup imposes a time expiration for items in your cart. if you need more time to shop (or hit that free shipping), remove it from your cart when you only have 5 10 minutes left or so and then quickly re add it from your favorited list to reset the timer. sidenote. i don't hate thredup because they give low payouts. Desperate finish9471. • 3 yr. ago. yes. they are selling your items and keeping the profits. they have created (a quite extensive) list of brands they no longer pay out on. if you send in these items they will list them and not pay you for them. i'd suggest looking at the list before you send in any items to them in the future. The waist was too big (thredup doesn’t post waist measurements on skirts so it’s a gamble!) and the length was too long. i love skirts that hit right above my knee. i may be tall ish (5’7″) so i can “pull off” midi skirts but i just don’t feel like they express my style at all. needless to say, i had to pass on this.
