How i would fix the spell slot problem with warlocks in one dnd. just give us more pact slots. the simple way for me is to bump up the number of pact slots every time the slots go up a level. you start at level 1 with 1 pact slot, get another at level 2, and then at level 3 with you get access to level 2 spell slots, your pact slots go up to 3.
