The Digital Health Leap
The Digital Healthcare Leap Leap is an epsrc funded digital health hub that aims to cultivate a multidisciplinary, entrepreneurial, cross sector digital health community in south west england and wales. the hub is providing opportunities for training, research and collaboration through three core programmes and a wide partnership network. Needs and priorities, today’s health providers need to address the digital requirements demanded by health policy or by consumers and other stakeholders. digital health initiatives rely heavily on having the right information in the right place at the right time for use by the right clinician.
The Digital Healthcare Leap Pwc Increase digital health capability across the region through leadership, engagement, acceleration & partnership leap’s vision for a world leading digital health hub is defined by our partners. together, we have determined that digital health is as much about design and user experience as health data analysis; it is motivated by patient. By providing a unique programme of training through its university partners and by offering research funding, the leap digital health hub is cultivating a multidisciplinary, entrepreneurial, cross sector digital health community across the south west and south wales. kicking off in october 2023 and funded by epsrc (£3.26m, ep x031349 1), leap. Research. the leap research programme will fund pre competitive research across four themes that have been shaped with the hub’s partners. consortiums will be able to apply for between £30k and £100k to fund collaborative research pilots between 6 18 months in length. the leap hub research funding call has now closed.
