Stortregn Finitude Cd Black Metal Season Of Mist Overall the album is not all that dark or brutal, in fact if i had to describe it i'd say the dominating mood throughout the album is triumphant, a mood that along with the relatively melodic approach to the riffs and leads definitely leads the thoughts to melodic black metal a la dissection. finitude is definitely a very well composed and well. Stortregn have always been a meloblack band with a tech death heart, but finitude is a faster, meaner, and more varied beast than ever. the album is tightly wound and asymmetrical, unlike 2021’s impermanence which counterbalanced the band’s labyrinthine instrumental prowess with nearly cinematic song structures, giving us sweeping epics.
