Storm Phaze V Bowling Ball Review Tamer Bowling The storm phaze 5 features r2s pearl reactive, velocity core, and comes with the new reacta gloss finish. the phaze 5 is the newest ball in the phaze line and a remake of the phaze 4. if you were missing the polish on storm’s balls recently, it is back with the new reacta gloss finish. The phaze v! the new storm phaze 5 features the same specs from the phaze 4, however sporting a new finish on the coverstock! how does it compare against the. The storm phaze v design should look pretty familiar to bowlers. it uses the same symmetrical velocity core design that has been used in all the domestic phaze series bowling balls, and it is wrapped in the r2s pearl coverstock just like the phaze 4. this ball comes out of the box with storm’s new reacta gloss finish. The new storm phaze 5 features the r2s pearl reactive coverstock wrapped around the highly successful velocity core found in the phaze 2 and 3. the phaze 5 features the new reacta gloss factory finish. the rg at 15lbs is 2.48 and the differential is .051. this ball complements the phaze 2 quite well.
