Spring Pregnant Belly Cake Cakecentral I've been dying for an excuse to make a belly cake since i saw my first one here. i was really happy with the way it turned out. 11x15 wasc cake, cupcake boobs, and wilton's soccer ball for the belly. the mom to be didn't know hat she was having, but loved lavander green. she ended up having a little girl in march!. Bake it until it's done. and then you use either small glass bowl bakeware or the mini wonder doll mold for the chest. frost your 9x13. do your fondant work for the body of the pregnant woman and then decorate the rest of the cake the way you want to. good luck!.

If i need more servings i make the pregnant belly cake atop a sheet cake. like in the 1st and 2nd link below. if i need a small belly cake. i just use the baseball pan for the belly and i have 2 smaller 1 2 ball pans that i bought at a local cake store, for the boobs. see 3rd link. i usually almost always put a sheet cake under the belly cake. 2 pounds powdered sugar. 1 4 cup milk. thoroughly mix butter, shortening and vanilla on low speed, scraping down sides of bowl often. stop mixer and add sugar 1 2 cups at a time mixing thoroughly on low speed, scraping down sides of bowl often. add the milk with the last bit of sugar and mix well on low speed. Wow! i think the same as callicious. i don´t usually like this kind of cake because cutiing a preggy belly… but it´s so beautiful your cake! so pretty lingery, making it sexy although being pregnant that we don´t feel sexy at all. that´s a very beautiful cake. i like the fabrik laying over the cake drum.
Pregnant Belly Cake Cakecentral I bought a baby foot mold. used gumpaste for foot, i applied the foot to the belly with buttercream. made a small ball and shaped it on the belly. covered foot, belly button and the rest in buttercream and then fondant. used a cake pop stick to make belly button hole. made a ruffled skirt with dowel rods to make the gathers. This cake goes along with the pink & purple pregnant belly cake that i made below. the customer ordered two cakes for the special occasion!!! this is an 8 inch round cake covered in fondant and decorated with two beautiful hand crafted elephants, fondant flowers and hand painted circles.
