Varia Suit Samus Metroid Dread By Jarckius On Newgrounds Questioning myself on samus' suit in metroid dread. if you have played metroid fusion, you will know that at the end of the game samus wears an orange suit, after absorbing the sa x's core that also replenished the ice beam functionality. seeing a different suit in the trailer of metroid dread didn't really bothered me, in fact i actually like. It makes better sense that whatever powered musculature the suit has is within the yellow layer under the blue bits of the fusion suit, closer to samus's body and with more sensible distribution. and that the blue layer is either a result of the x parasite and the metroid vaccine, or is some kind of intermediary layer between the outer carapace.
