Installed the coil and then went at the distributor conversion. so, the pertronix unit for a crab dizzy is a complete replacement breaker plate with their module on it. pulled the old breaker plate out and went to install the pertronix plate and the damn thing was too big in diameter and wouldn't fit into the distributor body (f*ck!!!). When i installed my ignitor ii on my flathead, the original points wire went through a hole on the front of the distributor (between the distributor and the fan). the po apparently removed the grommet because their was a glob of silicone or rtv plugging the hole. once the wire and silicone were removed i was able to pass the ignitor ii wires.
