Pin On Running Then it dawned on me that i could use a belt in running races as well (duh). it’s not perfect, but what i really like about it is that you don’t need safety pins, which saves the race director. Denoting runners using bibs helps keep spectators off the race course and people who didn’t register for the race. a runner’s bib may include: the runner’s race number. the name and distance of the race. the date of the race. a timing chip to record a runner’s race time. the runner’s name or other personalization.

Pin On Running To put on your race bib, use safety pins to secure it. first, put on the shirt you plan to wear during the race. then, center the bib on the front of your shirt. secure 1 corner of the bib with a safety pin by pushing the point through the bib fabric then through your shirt, and then securing it to the safety head. 4. pin the bottom corners. once you’ve done the top two pins, it’s time to secure the bottom two. smooth the bib down and pin one of the lower corners to your shirt. make sure there are no wrinkles and it looks straight. then use the last safety pin to secure the bib to your shirt. 5. remove any unnecessary tickets from the bottom of the bib. It doesn’t eliminate the haggling with those safety pins, but it does prevent your bib from rustling and sliding as much while you’re on the move. (in fact, many cyclists use this method to. 1000% a bib belt. this is pretty standard in the triathlon world. every race i do now is run with a belt. no more worries about pinning a bib to a shirt, it is easy to remove a sweatshirt on race day without worrying about pulling your bib off etc. i will never go back.
