Op Art Cubes Demo Youtube Op art cubes. op art (also known as optical art) is a style of art that was developed in the mid 1960's. it combines color and abstract patterns to produce optical illusions. the artists of that time were inspired by modern experiments in abstraction such as cubism, as well as technological advances in computers, television and aerospace. Op art cubes. in intro to art, the students learned about optical illusions and created these op art cubes. i introduced them to six different types of optical illusions and went through the steps to create each one. i like this project a lot, because it puts all the students on an even level of drawing. whether a student is a really good.
