As we all know, work can be stressful. and despite its few shortcomings, horrible bosses is the type of summer entertainment that’ll allow its audience to punch out for two hours and (possibly) avoid a mental breakdown. but don’t get too comfortable, that paperwork won’t file itself. critical movie critic rating: 4.

However, it turns out to be hilariously funny, with some great comedic performances. plot is decent, direction is fluid, though there are scenes which seem overly slapsticky or contrived. performances are mostly spot on. jason bateman and jason sedeikis don't put a foot wrong and charlie day is bearable. Ian buckwalter. who's the boss: (l r) kurt (jason sudeikis), dale (charlie day), and nick (jason bateman) plot to murder their overbearing, lecherous and psychotic employers. despite the promising. While drowning their sorrows, the frustrated trio hatch an imaginary plan to do away with their superiors. the sage advice of an enigmatic hit man soon sees speculation turn to action, and our hapless heroes find themselves in over their heads in a murder plot spiraling out of their control. there's a wicked premise behind this high concept.
