March was a very good reading month for me. i managed to post nine reviews, and there isn’t a bad book in this bunch! as always, these are listed in order of preference. on the down side, this is the first month i wasn’t able to read my tbr jar book (the adventures of amina al serafi), which makes me a little sad. March was by best reading month so far this year – in quantity and quality. in total, i read 9 books plus part of a book that i decided not to finish. i read six books that i rated four stars or higher, including my first five star book of 2023. i also worked toward my reading goals by knocking out two books from my netgalley backlist.

March by the numbers: total titles read: 9 published recently: 6 backlist titles: 3 five star reads: 5 debut novels: 1 books that are part of a series: 4 goodreads challenge: 28 120 (23%) gr netgalley challenge: 14 50 (28%) gr edelweiss challenge: 8 25 (32%) in march, my armchair travels took me to england (once) u.s.a. (twice)…. Of course, another late addition to the reading wrap up collection but gosh darn it, i’m gonna get all twelve months done. if you read last month’s summary, honestly march was more of the same (a.k.a. so much ya). in my never ending quest to show that books don’t have to be expensive or stolen, all of these were borrowed via the libby app.
