It's a decision to live by the spirit and keep in step with the spirit. this is the path of freedom. this is the path of life. this is the path of discipleship. fruitfulness fostered by the spirit. as we continue to reflect on the powerful words of galatians 5:13 25, we find ourselves drawn to the image of fruitfulness.
The Spirit Sermon By Sermon Research Assistant Galatians 5 13 25 Let's have a look at what paul wrote to the galatians in chapter 5, verses 22 to 26: "but the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. against such things there is no law. those who belong to christ jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 13 for you were called to freedom, brothers. only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 for the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 but if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another. 16 but i say.
