December Lecture Jessica Fahy Freelance Art Historian Welcome! i’m a freelance art historian based in dublin, ireland. i’ve been teaching and researching various areas of european art for over 15 years and i’m passionate about sharing my love for the subject in an engaging and interactive way. i currently teach courses for ucd adult education, the hugh lane and the national gallery of ireland. 26 september 2018 – 05 october 2018. this four day art history course will focus on the developement of irish art at the beginning of the 20 th century from the two often conflicting influences of the school of realism promoted by william orpen and the advent of modernism led predominantly by women artists.
