Ford 3000 Tractor Simms Minimec Dieselpump Renovation Youtube When all are free the rack should move freely also. best change or add engine oil to the pump too, it may be dry. when the rack is moving freely, tighten the line nuts and start the engine. if still no go the pump may have other serious trouble, last simms i repaired that was in rough shape was about 700 to repair. To take the pump off, there's a timing mark plug on the outside of the timing gear housing where you can look through and see the back of thepump drive gear. watch through there while turning the engine and stop when the mark lines up. then remove the pump. the mark will move out of time as you pull the pump off because of the helical cut gears.
