Not too sure, but i find pretty often that people lower their cars too much. you need some wheel travel to soak up the bumps and to drop into ruts. i have a few friends with cars that are undrivable on choppy backroads unless they drive very slow. lower, doesn't make it always handle better. i would think that 2 inches would be the lowest. Camber plates only work on macpherson struts. we do offer rear camber plates on the older models that use macpherson struts on all four corners, but because the rear is multilink on any 2008 wrx or sti rear camber plates are not an option with any coilover set for these applications. there are four main ways of adding rear camber adjustment. The sti's compression ratio is 8.2:1 running 14.5 psi and the evo is 8.8:1 running 19.5 psi. why is low compression better for a turbocharged engine? you make horsepower by how much air you move through the motor. a high compression 10:1 engine is more efficient than a 7:1 engine, so the 10:1 engine gives you more bang for the buck.

In most cases, expect coilovers to lower your vehicle from 0.5″ and go as low as 3.5″. can i add coilovers but keep my car at stock height? in almost all cases the answer to this is no. by default, even at the highest setting, most coilovers still lower your vehicle by at least half an inch. 2. fuel is the only fluid that you need to account for, but that is subjective and more of a concern with race vehicles. a full load of fuel for the wrx is only about 70 lbs. which is shared between all 4 corners (favors the rear). this has a minimal effect on the alignment.
