Hit The Deck Festival 2014 Nottingham Live Review Now in its fourth year, the hit the deck festival is back for another round in nottingham, and once again, the organisers have set the layout for the. It’s mid day on a drizzly easter sunday in nottingham, but there’s a buzz around talbot street, excitement is growing, it’s hit the deck. the first part of the festival seems to be dedicated to local nottingham derby bands showcasing their musical talent, and giving artists the chance to play alongside and rub shoulders with more.
Review Hit The Deck Festival 20 April 2014 Nottinghamlive Hit the deck always proves to have an interesting and diverse line up, with a mixture of big name bands and up and comers, 2014’s festival proved no different. first off the bat, it’s definitely worth mentioning – nottingham is a perfect place for the festival, with all the venues being minutes apart from each other, and a great option. Nottingham’s hit the deck indoor festival has grown in size over the past four years, expanding last year to include another day in bristol and, having bagged emo legends brand new as this years headliners, 2014 is sure to be the growing festivals biggest and best year yet. Hit the deck returned this year boasting a line up of biblical proportions. the first band i saw live was nai harvest. one thing that will strike you about nai harvest both live and when listening to their music is that you can hardly believe that they are a 2 piece. they make more noise and have more stage presence that some 5 piece bands. Review Hit The Deck Festival 2014 Ramzine Hit the deck returned this year boasting a line up of biblical proportions. the first band i saw live was nai harvest. one thing that will strike you about nai harvest both live and when listening to their music is that you can hardly believe that they are a 2 piece. they make more noise and have more stage presence that some 5 piece bands.
