Oh man, min and marty. this is a big one. on both the last episode and this one you mention that its strength was how normal and down to earth it was, and that's what i really love about this ep: it's so, well, normal. even in a crazy world of adventure time you can have people like minerva campbell and martin mertens who happen to fall. Much like the previous episode hide and seek, min and marty is primarily one big exposition bomb about the backstory of finn’s parents, his inception, and his eventual abandonment. while i always expected the events of finn’s past to be somewhat traumatic and sad, i don’t think the writers could’ve picked a more (satisfyingly) somber.
