1st Grade Schedule A Day In The Life First Grade Schedule First 1:25 2:25 rti math and reading. there are 5 1st grade classes and during rti we split students among all 5 classes. the actual ‘intervention’ classes have 12 students in them (max) and are restricted to tier 2 and tier 3 students. these intervention groups are all small group based. Math lesson: bridges is the daily lesson. it follows 8 units that teach necessary math standards and practices. it takes about 30 minutes to teach. it includes hands on activities as well as direct instruction and student journals. math centers: the last component of our math block is bridges work places.

First Grade Homeschool Schedule How To Create A Schedule That Works (the afternoon schedule varies a bit more) 12:00 math 12:45 science social studies literacy centres (on mondays, we meet with our grade 3 buddies instead) 1:30 gym (no specialist teacher – just me) 2:00 free time centres (students must have their work completed first). 2:40 dismissal. 2 model the behavior. ask a student to play the role of the teacher. go to a student’s desk and clean up materials in a safe manner, push in the chair, walk safely but briskly to the meeting circle, and sit calmly while looking at the “teacher.”. remain quiet. you do not need to narrate as you model.
