Golden Eagle In Flight At Sunrise Feathered Photography A little less than three months ago and only minutes after reaching my far away shooting destination at sunrise we spotted a golden eagle on the ground surrounded by a cluster of ravens. as i stopped my pickup for a better look two eagles took off – we hadn’t seen the second one until they both took flight. For this golden eagle series the light was so poor i had to shoot at iso 2500 to get enough shutter speed for flight shots. i almost never use iso’s this high – the only time i’ve ever done it in the past was shooting sage grouse on a lek long before sunrise.
