Step 1. cut squares of tissue paper (this will depend on how big your pot is but around 2" is what we did). grab a few squares around 4 5 pieces and punch a toothpick in the center. gather the sides and scrunch them up. this is more evident in the video on this post! step 2. place your styrofoam ball on top of the pot.

Cupcake Flower Bouquet Cupcakes Flower Cupcakes Cupcake Flower Grab some cupcakes and buttercream and off we go! . first, i made some flowers with a frilly, vintage feel. i started with a dot of buttercream in the center (piped with a tip 12), and then i wrapped a band of icing around it using my wilton petal tip 104. this is one of my favorite flowers to make. make sure that the small end of your piping. Hold the piping bag at a 45 degree angle along the edge of the cupcake. squeeze the bag until icing comes out and pipe inwards to the center. continue piping petals all around the cupcake. stick a few edible pearls or round candies in the center. arrange the cupcakes in a round bouquet cluster formation. Holding tip 104 horizontally and flat against the cupcake with the thinner edge pointed outward, pipe a ring of petals around the edge. for the next set of petals, hold the tip at a 45 degree angle so they stand a little bit taller. for the final set (s) of petals, hold the tip at more of a 75 degree angle so they stand taller still. Piping the leaves and roses: now, fill a piping bag, fitted with a large leaf tip (#366), with green buttercream and pipe a couple larger leaves on each cupcake. take a piping bag, fit it with a 2d tip, and add pink buttercream. do the same for the yellow buttercream. now just pipe on rosettes.
