Faith In Action A Roundtable On Interfaith Service This year end roundtable was an opportunity for students, faculty, staff, and community partners to come together to reflect on their experiences in advancing interfaith engagement around community challenges of poverty and educational opportunity. Power interfaith. power interfaith: an interfaith movement, uses our belief in god’s goodness and compassion for the suffering to organize and empower people to live and work together so th at god’s presence is known on every block, that people work together to transform the conditions of their neighborhood, and that life flourishes for all.
Faith In Action A Roundtable On Interfaith Service Interfaith service roundtable. please join us for the opportunity to create a better utah for women through service and interfaith peacebuilding. we will be meeting at the granite library on october 19th to engage in a service project, as well as an interfaith conversation with women of varying faith backgrounds and identities. Host special interfaith meditation and dialogue discussions, or replace an existing meeting agenda with a special interfaith opportunity. ideas for these gatherings include: meditation and discussion: choose three quotations from different scriptures or selected writings that speak eloquently of tolerance and acceptance among faith traditions. When faced with a choice between courage and cowardice, we must be brave. scouts: a scout is brave. leader: cleanliness is next to godliness. to have a clean body, a clean mind, and a clean record is a rewarding achievement. scouts: a scout is clean. leader: character is determined by the things we worship. This webinar will provide faith based communities with a threat briefing during fall religious observances and the “protecting places of worship national weeks of action.” in addition, federal partners will share practical tools and resources to help strengthen the safety and security of places of worship and community spaces.
