These "inspired by gibson" j45's are well made, very playable and sound good. obviously, it's not exactly the same as a gibson and steps were taken to reduce cost (poly finish instead of nitro, cheaper pickup and tuners, etc.). but these guitars are a great value for the money. spec wise, the epiphone is closest to the gibson 50's j 45.
