エフェクト Gcb95 Crybaby Mod Cus0w M63170195343 イパス Here's a long ish demo of the popular points for modification on the venerable wah pedal. mine followed the recommendations of stinkfoot.se, with some deviat. All you need is a soldering iron, some lead, pliers, a screwdriver, a few components and a bit of patience. i’m not an electronics guru, but i know enough to dare replacing some components and see if i like the result. the following directions apply to dunlop crybaby gcb 95 revision g pedals, but can be adapted to other versions, google it.

Dunlop Crybaby Gcb95 Mods Demo Youtube This post is focused on how to modify the current production gcb 95 crybaby for true bypass. it applies to all dunlop wahs that use the gcb 95 circuit board, and that has the jacks mounted to said circuit board – in other words, the gcb 95 from 1990 onwards, the jh 1 (both the older ones and the new ”signature” model), the zakk wylde and the old gcb 100 bass wah. Posted march 11, 2007. area 51 inductor. fulltone pot. dpdt true bypass. better capacitors (orange drop, rainbow, etc) range mod (do a search for 'wah mods') you can also adjust the pot for what range you want. how to do it is described on various wah mod sites. it's easy to do. you can also remove the felt stoppers at the toe of the. The 270 ohm resistor is meant to replace the 390 ohm resistor in the bottom left corner, for more gain. the 47k ohm is for in case i do the true bypass mod & want to bump the gain by replacing the 68k ohm input resistor. the 2.2k ohm is for replacing the 1.5k ohm next to the sweep cap, which apparently gives it more mid range. The 0.01uf cap controls the frequency range. a lower value shifts the whole sweep higher in frequency, while a higher value lowers it. to shift the wah downwards (using more of the woofy bassy wah sounds), try a 0.015 or 0.022uf cap here. the jh 1 and zack wylde wahs has a 0.022uf here, instead of the 0.01uf in the gcb 95.

Mods: 47k. 68k (this is the one i choose) 100k. r1: increasing this will smooth out the transition between heel to toe. sometimes the stock wah can transition quite rapidly and doesn't sound too good. this should smooth out that transition and increase the mids. stock: 1.5k. mods: 1.8k. Section 8 is a list of common mods. i specifically did the section 8.7 bud wah mod, but i also replaced the inductor. i think a lot of the more recent gcb 95s have red fasel inductors out of the box, so you may not find that you need to replace that you may not need to replace it either way if you're happy with other mods.
