Deepcool lt720 pump whine. i just installed a new lt720 and it’s making a high pitched whining noise. it isn’t the fans or rgb headers and i’ve switched headers for the pump and it doesn’t make a difference. if anyone else has this pump is this normal? i can hear it across my room.
Deepcool Lt720 Aio Cpu Cooler Review Kitguru I've noticed two noise issues that appear to coming from the water pump portion of the lt720. the first is a kind of whine that is similar to the sound an old chassis fan makes before it goes bad. it's pretty faint. it actually sounds like crickets in the far distance. this sound is made most of the time with a few seconds every once in a while. Connecting the pump to chassis fan 1, setting it to w pump and setting the fan mode to auto, not dc or pwm, and full speed, the pump no longer makes noise. setting it to dc mode or pwm mode, it makes the noise. only auto works. it's periodically making a noise, almost like air bubbles passing through it.
