Classroom Tour And Design Ideas Two years ago i switched schools and moved into a brand new (to me) classroom! although i’ve posted many pictures of my room on my instagram account, i haven’t done a classroom tour blog post yet, so i figured i’d round up some of my favorite classroom photos over the last two years to give you a closer peek into the space i spend most of my days during the school year!. It is classroom reveal time, so join me on a tour around my middle school classroom. this year i started completely fresh. my school repaints the walls and waxes the floor during the summer, so i have to pack everything up before i leave for the summer. this always feels like a pain, but it gives me the freedom to start completely over each year. The only color combination i have ever had in my classroom is blues, greens, and teals. i went into designing my first classroom with these colors in mind so i could invest in high quality furniture and organization storage tools over the years. my tips are: 1. settle into your space a bit before jumping in full force with decorating. Try limiting your classroom color palette to three main colors, with the furniture and supplies being variations on those shades. remember that the decor should limit visual “noise” and support students’ learning, so opt for neutral or calming colors like blues, greens and earth tones. 7. increase writable spaces.
