Boys Ballet Program Tanya Pearson Academy At the philadelphia dance academy, we believe that ballet is for boys too. to encourage boys to foster a love of dance, all boys age 6 and older enrolled in our co ed primary or pre professional divisions (ballet 1 and higher) can take ballet class (not theater or contemporary dance class) on scholarship. this scholarship does not apply to any. The benefits of dance for boys are far reaching and, as an encouragement for boys to try ballet, we offer a three month complimentary trial period for new students ages 8 18*. after three months, students will be evaluated for scholarship opportunities. fall classes begin on september 3, 2024 and run through may, 2025, but new students may join.
