X1 carbon ams first impressions and some suggestions. this printer set a new standard. it's fantastic and awesome and worth every penny. fast, high quality prints and a ton of features on the software printer. coming from a i3mk3 this is such a profound upgrade, it's hard to put into words. that being said, here are some suggestions: powder. I've only had the unit since wednesday (x1 carbon w ams) and i'm over the moon with it. haven't had one problem or failed print. currently getting used to multi color printing with the ams. i highly recommend getting the ams if you're even considering multi color or multi filament (support filament, etc.) printing.
