Artstation Pixel Self Portrait A self portrait in pixel art form. First pixel art piece here. i took a selfie from last june and pixelated it using the following procedure: 1. pixelize filter with pixel size n 2. sharpen filter 3. repeat step 1 with same pixel size 4. change image mode to indexed with a small palette (no more than 12 colors) it's interesting how my facial expression seemed to change with pixelation. :s.

Jones1618. •. it's somewhat a matter of taste but rookies usually either anti alias nothing (so lots of jaggies) or everything (so all edges are unnecessarily thick and fuzzy). you struck a nice balance. most of your edges are crisp yet smooth everywhere except a very few places (mostly where the hair touches skin). Step 1: step 1: make pixelpunk self portrait using google sheets. open google sheets and name your project. set up your spreadsheet to form a grid (each cell will be a pixel) select all of the cells in the sheet by selecting the square of the axis and moving the divider towards the left to make cells approximately square shaped.
