Artstation God Of War Ragnarok Niflheim These are the tiling textures i made as level lead for niflheim. . this is the entire texture set used to create the ice, snow, ruins, and bone models in niflheim. everything was made with zbrush, houdini, and substance painter with some additional detail from quixel displacement maps. These are some of the explorational concepts i did for niflheim caves. the area features very unique ice formation. i really want to show off the translucent quality of the ice, and having some kind of magical emission coming from it. art direction are heavily inspired by abe taraky and annis naeem's early concepts.follow me on instagram for.

Artstation God Of War Ragnarök Niflheim Frozen Caverns These are a selection of the procedural ice models i made as the level lead for niflheim. all models materials textures in these shots videos are by me. . every ice model i made for the level had 3 switchable looks to it: cloudy sss, cubemap refraction sss, and snow sss (along with being vertex paintable). this allowed more varied looks and integration into the scene depending on the look the. These are a selection of the procedural ice models i made early in development to look dev ice as level lead for niflheim. . the goal in this level was to create ice forms that felt original unique, something you hadn't seen in other media. my early approach to exploring ice looks was based around creating a tool that ran simulations and then meshed them to get interesting results. while i was.
