Arcadyan Stuck On 4g Lte R Tmobileisp Arcadyan stuck on 4g lte. hello. i was recently made aware of an issue i currently have with my gateway and that issue being that 5g is not properly working on my gateway. before this issue started, i had consistent 5g connection and now i've dropped to 4g consistent connection. i contacted support earlier about this issue and they stated. Second, in order for tmobile gatways to connect to 5g, they must use a specific 4g band as an "anchor". currently only two 4g bands, b2 and b66, are used as anchor bands. you can use this knowledge to troubleshoot. third, the display on your gateway will (i believe) show you the lowest bar signal.

The issue i am having now is that it’s stuck only on 4g. both the display on the gateway itself and the app show purely 4g connections and nothing for 5g. so i am getting less than 20mbps speeds when i used to get 150 200mbps on average. the phone in the same room as the gateway is at full bars with 5g, so it shouldn’t be a signal issue. I live in atlanta. had internet at 5g for well over a month. this morning flipped to 4g. my iphone is right next to the gateway with a full 5g signal. sure appears that t moblie internet is not unlimited. natural they enforce caps after the 14 day trial period. its ashame companies don’t provide services as advertised. Performance has been bad since day 1 on both arcadyan and nokia. now i am only on the arcadyan and it only displays 4g on the lcd. the gateway url also only shows 4g.
