Yeah, anime seems to be original story sharing some concepts of the first game. i played only the first akiba's trip, and found it to be fairly average to be honest. nothing really stood out; it does have nice characters and interations, but gameplay is a tad too repetitive. harmless "filler" fun worth playing between meatier games.
