Aio Pump Rattle Noise R Watercooling The fan in the actual pump unit uses a cheap rotor that moves slightly out of place or out of balance and it causes that rattle. (the pin also can slide a bit out of place.) reducing the pump speed in cam can fix this temporarily, but you’ll eventually start hearing this even at 30% and lower. you’ll need to take it apart and make sure. Aio pump rattle only at low rpm. troubleshooting. finished a new build, and my first time using aio. i’m using an arctic liquid freezer ii 280mm (front mounted tubes on bottom). when the pc boots there is a short “rattle” that goes away as everything turns on. then once i’m booted in bios the rattle comes back and is constant.

Aio Pump Rattle Noise R Watercooling Solution. #4. much depends on the actual noise being made ( i can only make assumptions that my experiences of the 'sounds like' noises are similar to yours ). it likely is air and cavitation the noise made by the pump impeller when air is being introduced into the coolant as it runs. Moved the radiator from side exhaust to top exhaust, the video was taken pre move. this made a noticeable difference in the time it took for noise to start but the noise is still happening. temps specs are as follows: gaming temps: no more than 45c, noise typically doesn't happen until after 40c is reached. Gently tilt the pc system forward and backwards to help work the bubbles through the cooler. set the pump performance mode to “extreme” and let it run for an hour to clear out the air bubbles from the pump chamber. if you still hear bubbling noise, try rotating your pc 45 degrees in several directions gently while the pump is running. Posted december 30, 2021. hi, this is my first aio so i am not sure if this is the noise it is meant to be making. i just installed my new kraken x53 cooler and plugged it into the aio pump port on my asus strix b450 i motherboard. when the pump is running anything over 1400 rpm, it makes a very loud and annoying whining sound.

Tubes go on the bottom. air bubbles will continually get into the pump in the tubes up orientation. flip it around and give it time. the sound will stop eventually 🙂 try turning the rad so the tubes are on the bottom. then run it for a while and let all the air get trapped at the top of the rad away from the pump.
