Spring Recital 2023 Riverley Primary A child’s song (acs) is a 501 (3) (c) nonprofit that has served the denver metro area since 1999. we nurture an appreciation for music while providing programs and education to share the developmental, healing, and social emotional benefits of music for children and adults. When deciding to perform for a recital, the first step is to do just that: decide! often times the most important thing you can do is 1. choose for yourself that you want to show your musical skills and talents, and then 2. figure out what song is the best option for you. once you’ve got the song, the rest can often fall into place. Select a song that is age appropriate, and appropriate for a family audience. check with your music teacher (especially voice students who are singing the words aloud!) to make sure the lyrics to your song are appropriate for the music recital. sometimes a teacher will suggest a simple lyric change to make the song work, but other times it just. Passacaglia (beginner intermediate piano duet) handel halvorsen arr. chrissy ricker. for beginners who love lyrical pieces, this arrangement of handel's famous "passacaglia" will have classic appeal! as a bonus, the student part can be taught easily by rote. sheet music available here.
